World Chess Champion with Vishy Anand. The middlegame book is equally well written, and aims to break the notion that the middlegame should be played by employing rules of thumb that we would have picked up during our chess careers.

Instead he states that you should look at the whole board as one interconnected and fluid thing, and that you should plan your moves accordingly.
